Good morning!  This has been quite the productive morning!  Even though I don’t have to be at work until around 8:30, I always try to wake up with my husband at 5:30.  This way I can get a workout in, have a good breakfast, and prep anything I need to for dinner that night.  This morning this was my workout:

Arnold Press on the Physio Ball (3 sets of 10 with 8 lbs weights)

Chest Press on the Pysio Ball (3 sets of 15 with 15 lbs weights)

Bank Flys (3 sets of 10 with 8 lbs weights)

Bended Rows (3 sets of 10 with 15 lbs weights)

“Swings” (3 sets of 15 with a 15 lbs kettle bell)

Lunges and abs

4 mile run outside

Man, that run was chilly!  It is getting very cold very quickly here in New England.  Thank God I will be in sunny Florida soon!  More on that to come.

This morning I also prepped the BUTTERNUT squash for the soup I am making tonight! I am using this recipe from Whole Foods.  You will also notice that by making butternut squash soup I am avoiding the “vegetable texture” problem my husband has 🙂

I cubed the butternut squash this morning to save time tonight since we are putting up our CHRISTMAS TREE!  I am clearly pretty excited about this 🙂

I am making butternut squash tonight too!! Just roasted not in a soup…I HATE cubing it, but yours looks nice and pretty. 🙂

I will have to do a special post on how to cube butternut squash! Although, I was very close to losing a finger tip this morning!
